After about a year of construction, we were able to celebrate the official inauguration of our new company building in Bischofswiesen this weekend together with all employees and their families. After a tour of the premises, an emotional speech and vote of thanks, all guests gathered at the bachmaier Café for dinner. Interesting conversations at the cocktail bar and dancing to good music rounded off the unforgettable evening. We are still overwhelmed and grateful to have gathered so many great people around us and toasted the future together.

Unbelievable how fast the move of the warehouse to Pfaffenfeld took place. We planned with three days for the move and finally, due to the many helping hands, we managed everything in two days. The transition from Ramsau to Bischofswiesen went smoothly, so that our team was able to continue working seamlessly at the new location. On Friday, the goods were shipped from Ramsau and already on Monday, the shipment from Bischofswiesen started. On almost 400 sqm of storage space, our well thought-out shelving system as well as our new packaging and shipping line ensure smooth processes.

What an exciting moment when the 264 photovoltaic panels finally converted the first rays of sunlight into electricity after almost a week of installation. The 1200 square meters of flat roof were completed by the Eschrich company in April and now covered with a layer of native pebbles from the Saalach river. The gravel provides UV protection for the underlying waterproofing, serves as an insulating layer and weighs down the stud frame of our photovoltaic system. We are overjoyed about this environmentally and climate-friendly solution with which we now cover a large part of our energy needs.

We have put a lot of time and energy into our bachmaier Café project. Because this area is not just a place to eat, but much more a place where we spend time together, cook and enjoy together, talk to each other, laugh heartily and celebrate. Until our kitchen is filled with life, we still have to be a little patient ...

The floor immediately gives the room a special feeling of well-being. The choice of the floor was not the easiest decision. Because not only the appearance, but also the requirements, such as sound insulation, step and slip resistance, easy cleaning and low odor played an essential role in the selection.

What appears to be a barren wooden skeleton here will soon be used as a meeting room. The individual rooms in the middle of our office area are designed to provide the ideal environment for personal consultations, workshops and video conferences. Our material concept of concrete, wood, glass and steel continues in the interior design. The wooden stud walls made of local larch ensure perfect acoustics, optimal sound insulation and thus contribute to the feel-good climate.

Efficient heating from the ground up.

For our new building, we use groundwater heat as a heat source. Heating with a groundwater heat pump is not only particularly energy-efficient and powerful, but also makes us independent of fossil fuels. Our well drilling was carried out in pouring rain. For this, we went 25 meters deep into the ground.

Knapp 10 Monate nach dem Spatenstich ist der Rohbau fertig. Mit 100 Gästen feierten wir zünftig den ersten großen Abschnitt unseres Neubaus. bachmaier® dankt allen Bauarbeitern und ausführenden Gewerken, die bisher am Bau beteiligt waren, für die gute Zusammenarbeit.

In the future, 255 square meters of solid wood windows made of native larch will ensure a pleasant indoor climate in our new building. Wood as a natural and renewable raw material stands for coziness and naturalness and convinces with a very good heat and sound insulation. The generous glass fronts ensure sufficient natural light for our new workplaces. We can hardly wait!

Currently, a massive scaffolding made of countless steel rods covers the facade of the new bachmaier® building. What looks like abstract art here serves as a support for our canopy panels weighing up to 4 tons. Despite freezing cold with temperatures down to -14 degrees, we are making good progress with the construction project, only the roof is still missing from the shell.

Lightly and gracefully, the 54-ton truck-mounted crane moves one precast concrete part after the other to its designated place. The last precast concrete elements of a total of 154 are being erected today. The upper floor is now in place and we are slowly approaching the 8-meter total height of the new bachmaier® building. Our company location in Bischofswiesen continues to take shape.

You can see it from afar: The bachmaier® Christmas tree shines in front of our construction site at the new company location and creates a Christmas atmosphere for the employees of our construction partners, for our future neighbors and for us. We can hardly wait to move into the new building and are looking ahead to 2022 with big plans.

The new bachmaier® building in Bischofswiesen is growing rapidly. Before winter arrived with the first snow in the Berchtesgadener Land region, the assembly team of the Salzburger Fertigteilwerk from Salzburg Bergheim put in a full effort on our construction site. What looks so easy is heavy-duty work with millimeter precision - a perfect interplay of man and machine.

The progress in the Pfaffenfeld cannot be overlooked. The Neubauer company from Bad Reichenhall is currently preparing the foundations for the exposed concrete walls. The formwork is being erected and ironworkers are adjusting the reinforcement before the concrete mixer arrives and the concrete is poured.

Hike and employee party "From Reichlfeld to Pfaffenfeld" - full of anticipation, we decided to set off on foot with our colleagues from the old to the new site. Cross-country, uphill and downhill, over steep slopes, meadows and rocks. Together we braved wind and weather and had a lot of fun with good food ;) Arrived at the destination, there was a well-deserved barbecue party.
