As the name suggests, there are two specialisations in wholesale and foreign trade training: In wholesale, you buy goods from international manufacturers or suppliers and sell them to companies that need them themselves or sell them to the customer in the shop. bachmaier® is sometimes itself a manufacturer of acoustic equipment - this means that you prepare offers for tools, cleaning series, moulding technology etc. for acoustic technicians. You learn how to negotiate with them by telephone or on site and - if everything goes well - you receive an order! Checking stock levels, checking deliveries and preparing everything for smooth shipping are part of your daily tasks in wholesale. In foreign trade you are responsible for the import and export of goods. This means that you negotiate with companies from all over the world and juggle customs duties and currencies. Good foreign language skills are therefore an advantage! You'll also learn how to win new customers by analyzing the competition and thinking up actions. In addition to oral and written communication, numbers are your most important tool: With the computer you calculate prices, create invoices and monthly statements of income and expenses. So it never gets boring!
